useless ANC….killed every working business they’ve taken over. Just all seen as vehicles for self enrichment to raid and plunder!

In many countries in the World, national postal services have successfully turned around to adopt electronic communication services and to provide these to their clients, from large organisations to individuals. These are similar services to what we see here in courier service companies to deliveries of ordered goods to groceries, as well as internet and comprehensive cell-phone services.

SAPO has announced several turn-around strategic plans but has never actioned even one of them.
Consequently the deliveries of all sorts of services are being undertaken by all, from international freight and couriers, down to local supermarket groceries. These successful logistics services have sprung up because SAPO cannot get its act together, but SAPO complains about these competitors and wants to hide behind legislation, which it can neither police nor enforce.

There is no reason why SAPO has not been able to change and adopt new technologies, other than pure lack of political will and executive management incompetence.

The state of the SAPO is the natural consequence of cadre deployment. and political interference. All that sensible people wanted in 1994 was that Apartheid should be laid to rest. Unfortunately the ANC thought otherwise and set about politicising every aspect of the economy to the detriment of us all.
