Not only lack African politicians vision, competence and knowledge, but most of all honesty, integrity, morality.
Big question now is : can Namibia in the foreseeable future process, refine the raw lithium ore ?
Probably not, so indeed it’s very shortsighted. If this issue continues, then the mine will close, and people will be retrenched.

China has a history of dishonesty the world over. Other countries should be very careful when dealing with this regime.
Of course, gullible governments, like the South African one, will always fall for the Chinese tricks.
